Wazz72
Is this the right place to install a bleed valve? There are the instructions that came with it.
Wez
That diagram looks like chuff to me. Should you have a T piece inline to the wastgate and then the bleeder coming off of that to bleed air to atmos. That diagram looks like it creates a boost leak. Soonto_HAS_soop
What's the dump valve got to do with the wategate?

JohnA
Are you sure you want to install this thing on the Supra? The diagram looks daft to me. Go for a ball&spring MBC and fit it on the wastegate at the front of the engine.
toyo rob
got pics of the area u need in this thread, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=34733 where the big black box is is where the bleed valve goes, when i got a controller i stupidly thought it went in the same place as the valve i had; have since learned plenty about those bloody vacuum pipes and the probs they cause. hope it helps, Rob S ps that pic is right under the alternator on a soop. mr keef
So basically you install the bleed valve in the hose with the red arrow here:- and the hose with the yellow arrow is just another breather? cheers
Wazz72
Fitted it today, on your pictures the blue hose on the right goes to as different place than on mine. Mine goes from the wategate i think, to the right hand side of a small plastic block with 2 pipes comming off it. where does yours go to, and whats that black plastic block on the lower left hand side as mine dont seem to have that? Now its on the boost has gone up, but not a great deal, it seems to boost more when the second turbo kicks in. I've got a front decat comming this week will that make much difference? Also, I tighten it to increase the boost right? And should my aftermarket BOV bet tighter rather than loose. Tight i get more pull, less woosh. Lose i get lots of woosh and no boost. I made the hole a tiny ickle bit bigger on the MBC to allow a bit more air to escape - done the trick got loads more boost. and yes tighten it clockwise for more boosts. If you're tightened it up so much that you can't turn any more try making the hole a bit bigger, unwind the screw and start again. but like everyone says save up for an electronic controller as the MBC are shite at the end of the day. With regard to the BOV - i dunno not got one.
