JohnK
Is it normal for the tip of a Nur spec to get so hot as to not be able to touch it? Ive had turbo cars before with all s/s exhaust but never had the tip get mor than warm to the touch.
Terminator
My Hiper is the same, but only when I drive in Wellingtons;) :littled:
Steve W
YEP, 'cos the HEAT (errrr NOISE!) is getting ALL the way along the zorst MUCH easier...it's bound to get NICE & HOT [ I start the Soop up in the morning during the week with the baffle in, and ~3/4 minutes down the road I TAKE IT OUT ! ! ...it's already too hot to touch...use the rag I wrap it in to pull it out ] I think Stainless also transfers heat better (errr..'worse' ?) than mild steel... so even HOTTER. STILL, not a chance in hell of rotting-zorst-syndrome..... ...the water couldn't stay in there if it WANTED to ! ! ! [me Mongoose tail-pipe was always just warm..... ] FatS. JohnK
I run mine how nature intended, with the baffle out! I ought to run a book on how long it will be before the neighbours complain.
qaisar
havent got an aftermarket zorst yet but i would expect that to be the case cos the zorst on my bike gets really hot, which is quite nice in the cold cos it keeps me legs warm
Flipfinger
Hmm, nobody's asked the obvious question: Why are you fondling your exhaust? I know some of you are VERY attached to your cars, but there's no need to go *that* far, if ya get my meaning....
JohnK
I was taking the baffle out honest
