Aerotop Dave
Have to say, I've just replaced my J spec springs with UK ones and can't notice any difference in ride softness.
terribleturner
Steve, are you 100% sure they are standard springs??
Prof. Monkey
Have a set of grey billies with springs on, unsure if they are lowered one or what. Gave a nice ride, taken off due to upgrade to yellow billies! Came off a J-Spec. Interested?
Suprasteve
Have to say, I've just replaced my J spec springs with UK ones and can't notice any difference in ride softness. Hmmm strange now i'm really confused, this goes against what others have said. did you suffer from lack of grip before you replaced them ? Steve, are you 100% sure they are standard springs?? dunno mate - to be honest i've not got a clue whats going on anymore and what to do but i thought i'd try the cheapest option first and go from there. Have a set of grey billies with springs on, unsure if they are lowered one or what. Gave a nice ride, taken off due to upgrade to yellow billies! Came off a J-Spec. Interested? i've currently got yellow blisteins on but don't know if the springs are standard or not. Basically i've been told the UK standard springs are a "softer" ride than the Jap springs to help me with grip.

I was told too that UK springs would give a noticeably softer ride than the J specs, but neither me or my girlie can feel any difference. No lack of grip, no, but then I don't really push it that hard.
