Skimming Brakes

put the wheel nuts on. the only reason that they would do them on the car is to allow for hub runout. i recently had mine done off the car

but the discs would need skimming to some pretty tight tolerance, im not sure that bearing movement, wheel on steering movement etc would be a solid base to machine from...like i say, no expert, but id do them off the car - if at all

You drive a Supra - I'd say get new discs and keep things as safe as you can.

It's not like they cost the earth.

mine were a temporary fix and i could get it done for nothing. i cant see anything wrong with it as long as everything is kept within tolerances
