GeordieSteve
Cheers mate. I've been looking at that page but I was hoping someone had experience with it (on a single hopefully). I'm thinking emanage Ultimate at the mo but been offered one of these as well
michael
I'd be more inclined to choose a setup that my chosen tuner was happy with
GeordieSteve
Yeah I plan to go back to Thor so swaying towards the Ultimate. Just curious really
Chris Wilson
Anyone used one or know anything about it? Excellent ecu, but their software is a bit klunky to use, IMO. Not as nice as a Motec IMO.
Wez
Wasnt pectal setup by a bunch of ex motec guys? Great units and as far as i am aware they even do drop in replacements for scoobies and evos, dunno if one has been used on a supra yet but my mapper highly recommends them. Pectel was set up by my boss I'm an embedded software engineer for Pectel, and as it happens, for the last three years most of the software development work on this ECU has been done by me. I don't recall whether it's been used on a supra before, but I suspect it would be quite a bit of effort to run it on the supra engine. Anyone know what the crank/cam pattern is on the supra? Pete
Will it link via USB?
JamesG
Serial or CAN (via parallel port adapter). I think I tried it successfully with a USB->serial converter a while ago.

How many laptops do you see with hardware serial com or parallel ports these days? USB serial dongles and software COM drivers are very hit and miss. Whilst you're rewriting the software you should SERIOUSLY consider USB functionality.
