lol, I don't hide under a bushel, I just reflected on what I wrote and decided it wasn't worth it. And the quote quite often lies actually lol.

And michael, your quote was supposed to make ou that my highlighted comment was snide? I think it was anything but, it was as blatant and prominent as possible.

hey ho! lol

i like it. i alwso think the turbo vx is a car with potential.its a light weight car.

the astra gsi in white looks great. a mate has a well tuned gsi 2l 16v turbo with nos

my first good car was a mk2 astra gte 1.8l 8v thought it was rapid at the time.

have had a 1.4l vauxhall runabout and boy that was rubbish and no power

the space is the only thing stoppin me from gettin one but i dont really want to go down the scooby path, not that theres anything wrong with them, its just coz theres a load of scoobys down this way and not alot of supra's and i like to be different, my m8 had a cavi turbo runnin at 450bhp but he spent best part of 20k but the let it go for under 3k.

Oh hello. Wondered when you'd be here craig (bob here as I was on the forum). Well you used to race Evo's and M3's with your vectra so god knows what you'll be racing while you've borrowed that supra, mind at least it won't be as likely to be bullshit :innocent: :read:

Just don't chav it up before you give it your mate back, mind they don't do lexus lights for the supe as far as I know

Drive steady now, its a fast RWD car not a FWD family saloon as I found out quick enough.

Always preferred the Mondy ST myself - a far better drive/chassis, but each to their own, looks a tidy car, shame about the wank rear clusters ;) :p

i,ve been lookin at the mondeo st220, but would love a turbo coz i aint been able to insure one coz of the points and my age, but now i got less pionts and comin upto 25, i think nows the time, i still have the original lights so it depnds on the new owner but i kinda like them coz imo it blends in with the car as being all white.

i was always a vauxhall man before my supra i found that vauxhalls were a very reliable cars.:ok:

the c20xe and c20let lumps were great engines i had a astra mk3 turbo before the supra completly different car but still great fun and very under estimated, as for the vx220 turbo they are very fast bottom end i believe they run a 4 sec 0-60. but would never trade the supra after owning one:p

Ok well I have had a mk2 gte (cosworth engine) which was ok, but not good.

Strange thing really, it was nippy in a straight line but didnt like the bendy bits! Had an Impreza as well but now I have my Supra and havnt looked back! Although I do seem to look through the side windows from time to time especialy in the wet!

At least Lotus managed to put one of their cars right. [edit] two.

Well, strictly speaking Lotus didn't put the VX right as it wasn't designed by Vauxhall in the first place :)

vx220, are you mad.............. it bas bmx width font wheels.:scare:

...to give it neutral handling. The Elise (unsurprisingy) has skinny front wheels too. If it didn't it would oversteer all over the place. I don't think too many people would say that either car handles badly.

But if all you look for in a car is fat wheels then you're probably right - don't buy one. ;)
