I had the VTS for about two years and these are the only two photos I ever took. You can see why I changed it for the Clio 16v!:( If I had the option of owning one again I'd snap it up, it was a great little car. 7300rpm red line, a little under 70mph in second gear! Amazing little thing.

I graduated from a saxo as well and would definitely own another.

Whereabouts in staffordshire are you, im in lichfield.

There are lots of members in and around the area, you'll have to get yourself to an event or 2, oh and welcome.

I've been looking at the events and meetings pages and couldn't find anyone doing anything in the area. I'm in Stone (just between Stafford and Stoke) let me know when you guys are doing anything and I'd be well up for coming along. A mate of mine used to live in Lichfield, it takes about half an hour to get there.

Hi!

Very nice Supra indeed, how much are you paying for insurance and who with, im after an NA early next year so id be interested?

Also tell us about the spin, how d'it happen?

It's £850 fully comp through Elephant. That's with two years no claims bonus and a write off on my records.

Rain + roundabout + over eager right foot = Glowin being scared sh*tless. Luckily I managed to keep it away from the kerb, it fishtailed three times before finally breaking away and left me facing the wrong way on a dual carriageway:oops: I now regard it as a less learnt and have asked santa to book me on to a skid pan course for christmas.

To answer your question on power I'll admit I was a little disappointed at first. But it's just a different way to driving. My VTS and Clio 16v were all about high revs but the Supra doesn't need them to pull. I do miss the little screaming engines though. My mate had an Integra Type R and when that hit the limiter at around 9300rpm that was just magic. I think I just need to make the Supra louder and I'll be happy. The straight six sounds pretty cool when it's angry though.
