Right....finally picked up my supra from the garage (just bought it) as they were closing tonight. Drove around london abit feeling good! then went on the north circular to driv home so had a chance to open her up a bit......after going about 95kmph (what ever that is in mph) for a couple of minutes these lights cam on. (see pic)

so I slowed down, stopped at the first garage and checked the oil and rad..fine. Started her up...no lights...couple of minutes later...lights back on!

What do they mean?

The car has just had an MOT and service before I picked it up, although one of the headlights is dead so I don't know how it passed the MOT.

help please!!

The one on the left has come on because the one on the right is showing a problem.

Could be anything in electrical system or engine.

Like Pete say's a diagnostic test might give you the answer.

You can do the diagnostic test yourself but I can't find the link.

When I bought mine, it had a naff gadget on it for reading revs, speed etc., when I ripped it out, I got exactly the same problem, no lights, then a few minutes later, they came on. In my case, it was a wire that I hadn't put back properly on the ECU under the passenger's carpet/footwell.

If not, then have a look at:

http://www.mkiv.co.nz/

Then go to 'Technical' and then 'Engine diagnostic codes. How to read them'

Hope this helps.

so thats it! speed sensor reading. when they guy at the garage to the delimiter out he must have not got good connections. Well Matt Harwood is going to sort that out for me :D when he puts in a Thor delimiter and speedo conversion.

At least I know my engine isn't going to blow up. Whe do they put it so close to the oil lights!! it made me think I was going to cease the engine up getting home!!!
