is it pressed in or something?

also does the drive shaft just pop out and in?

AFAIK it's a ball joint with a tapered shaft so you will need to lever it or try and get a ball joint seperator on the end of it.

Just be careful of the rubber boot (says the guy who has split more than he cares to remember!!!)

You can get ball joints out by carefully hitting the lump of metal it goes into with a club hammer, I mean careful. The shock will losten the ball joint. Do not hit the ball joint or do not hit the ball joint thread. You donot need to go MAD with it.

WD40 first to help things.

The drive shaft will require tapping out, It has a clip on the end which means it holds it in once in place on the spline.

Brian
