Keith C
They said WHAT?!?!? Never heard such nonsense - my local dealer happily sells me anything I ask for over the counter...

eyefi
give them the part number (which will be in the bbs somewhere) and just tell em to order that. if they wont try other toyota/lexus dealers and get em to ship it to ya. they'll send it to another toyota dealer free of charge. Flavio
You can use Esso ATF Dexron D-21065 instead of V160 fluid. It's easier to get and a lot cheaper as well! How much you need should be in your owner's manual. Flavio
eyefi
flavio, is that stuff ok with the seals etc in the v160? i know the americans had some problems with some (other than toyota) tranny fluid.

There are some doubts about the Redline oil for the Getrag tranny but the Esso Dexron oil I mentioned is approved by Toyota and is the only other oil except the V160 oil that is mentioned in my Toyota manual. BTW You need 1.8 liters for the 6-speed tranny. Flavio
