carl0s
The NA feels very wobbly and boat-like above 80mph, in an almost unsafe way. It's like it's bouncing from side to side. What is the most likely cause of this? Springs or Shocks? The car is lowered and running 18s. The wheels look to have an obscene amount of negative camber. Could this be the cause? Homer
Does it have an active spoiler? I know that when mine failed front end grip went to hell above 70mph.
carl0s
Hmm, no it doesn't. My UK car has one but I have it disabled at the mo and haven't noticed any difference really.
BigRoy
How much negative camber we talking? Shouldnt do that though. Guess at shock or bush thats gone.
Ian C
Does it lurch when changing lanes on a dual carriageway? It could be the shocks. Incorrect/unbalanced tyre pressures could do it as well, and any alignment problems. Also, tyres fitted that weren't new on the car and have worn to a different pattern than the car likes. -Ian

Ian W
have exactly the same problem on my NA Carlos!! my next plan is to put on a set of new rear tyres, rebalance and re-align all four wheels.... god knows what i'll do if that doesn't work!! Smarty has a similar problem on his car and is taking it to Chris Wilson so may want to see how he gets on....
carl0s
It's only on imperfect roads, so where there's slight movement in the road. It's as if the suspension is not responding to the bumps properly.. hmm.
