tbourner
I think Crash and Burn was the sequel, or was it the other way round? Want them on DVD but can't find them anywhere!!
terribleturner
Yeah i have seen Robot Jox but not Crash and Burn. Infact i thought of it today as i watched Spy Kids 3 and 2 of the kids stand up in place of the heads on these giant robots. in fact it can be found here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AM6ONU/103-2934499-4131053?v=glance&n=130&v=glance

Ian C
Christ that's old skool Wasn't there another mech one where there is a human-style robot infiltrating a bunch of people and they all cut themselves to prove they are human but the robot has red hydraulic fluid in it so it fools them until the next guy in line's arm swells up due to an allergic reaction to the hydraulic fluid still on the knife? Blimey if anyone else remembers that I'll be impressed... -Ian
hadyn
Van Damme Cyborg, Ian? Although im probably very wrong.
Ian C
Van Damme Cyborg, Ian? Although im probably very wrong. Don't think so, because it had no named actors in it and it also had an old 'mech in the scrapyard that they only fired up at the finale... -Ian
tbourner
Rings a bell, Ian, was it in a 'mad max'-esque future except more industrial than desert? Can't drag it out of my memory clearly but I'm sure that involved cyborgs in some way!!

Dash Rendar
tbourner, why do you want this on DVD? It was an awful movie!! "Hmm, shall I finish off the cheesy nasty Russian with this rock? Nah, that'll just make me as bad as him!" To Ian: defo not Cyborg, but it might have been Cyborg 3. Those movies got progressively worse... But Cyborg 2 did have Angelina Jolie in one of her younger roles!
Lazarus
Reading through this thread brought up a few memories, wasn't the lead character in Robot Jox played by the same fella that was in the Alien Nation TV series? and talking about large robots, who remembers "Star Fleet X-Bomber" with Dai-X, that show was cool (when I was about 11 LOL). Lazarus
Yep, I used to love Star Fleet when I was a kiddie. There's a few fan sites kicking around the web. As I found out, after making that post I thought "There must be something on the net about it", went and had a look and there's masses of stuff inc a rundown of each of the 24 episodes with soundclips and bits of vid. Ahh! The memories!

This is getting silly now, didn't have clue what you were on about, look at the fan sites and now i remember it. The X-bomber does look familar . I feel a night downloading vids is coming.
