Justin
Thought I posted this already? Anyway here it is again. I was B596. Not good times but have a 3800 TC waiting for me at Vortex Wanna try it before Pod closes for winter. Nice one to our class winner with 11.5. http://www.japshow.co.uk/rwyb_times_b.htm
terribleturner
Justin, was that with drag radials on??
Justin
Yup and 1.5bar and hybrids and FMIC and 8 injectors and 500bhp! Shite isn't it! I ran 13.03 on street tyres with the same car at Pod a year before. But I did spin at 90 mph and have stopped doing that with radials. I think I'll let them down to 14psi from 16 as well as burn them out more at the start. I still span like a b*stard in the 60ft though against that 4x4 with radials. Justin
PS I thought I saw you mate and geezabloke in the queue in front of me but wasn't sure. Would have looked a dick if I said 'hi are you geezabloke and terrible turner' and it wasn't you!

Justin
Mate i spent what felt like the entire day in the que only to get shitee times Hopefully recieving my new 3800 TC next week to go on Tell me about it mate my missus went home in her car after my first run she was so pissed off and I don't blame her. Once you're in the sign-on que or firing lane that's your day gone at Pod. You can't see the rest of the show, you can't see your times in between runs, you can't get a drink, you can't leave your road wheels and jack anywhere safely, you can't even take a p*ss! Apart from that it is ok. Is a normal RWYB better ie less busy?
terribleturner
Is a normal RWYB better ie less busy? When i got a phone call from Suprasteve a few months ago ona normal day i think he was on his 8th run. I think definatly next year we'll organise a few mini meets there on a normal day.
