RedM
Agreed. Hopefully it'll bring the R34 prices down so i can get one as a run-around though I was thinking the same thing. Buy a cheap R34 and go into the minicab business.
tonyhawk
I don't like the nose on the LF-A, but it is supposed to be fitted with a 5L V10, pushing 500+bhp from the factory, which does give it some respect. Also, you know that being a Toyota engine, it'll probably handle double that!... Add a body kit, a few engine tweaks.... I like the side profile though:
TREG
Like the 34s looks, this new one looks alittle clean cut!
Justin
Well, just been looking at the LF-A and I hate to admit it, but I much prefer this replacement GTR. And also if its going to be under the Lexus name, then they can stick it I would have to convert and get this GTR replacment I am sorry to say It looks so boring when you compare them I'm with you mate on this. Nick
The whole front end is just rubbish. Odd really, because I thought the whole rear end on the R34 was rubbish ! Give me a R32/R33 anyday.
Pete
The R34 somehow looks different in reality than in pics, so I'll reserve judgement on the front of the R35 until I see it. More LF-A It's amazing how different Nissan, Toyota and Mistubishi have made their popular models. The EVO-X is also very far removed from the previous models. Bobbeh
Plus the LF-A is still a concept car.. so compare the original GTR prototype to this thing and you'll probably see similar changes.
supra-lad
newspaper today claims that the gtr will have a 3.5l V6 with around 450bhp:shrug:
Markie
Well, unless Toyota make the changes of at least the look of the LF-A, I will be getting one of them GTR's in 2008 instead of the Lexus I am assuming though that the GTR will come with the AWD and the electrics to make me look like Michael Schmacher
CJ
I am assuming though that the GTR will come with the AWD and the electrics to make me look like Michael Schmacher Its going to have to come with a personal dietician and trainer to make me look like Michael Schumacer
Bobbeh
So you're in the range for a 70k are you?
DShox
the GTR Z-Tune is around 83k (i think) - that onme retains the 'old skool' looks of the R34. no sure about this latest one - may be slightly more mainstream with the sleeker lines. ManwithSupra
I think it’s awful. They have completely lost the look of the benchmark GTR. Like others have said i think i would have the older R34. Now it looks to european and looks like a 350z mixed with a Audi. Very Disappointed
