Nick,

Looking at this photo close up it reads 285/35 zr19 to me

It's the last pic on that site.

No, thats the rear.

The car used 19's on the back on 18's on the front. Trust me, Stewarts old car used Z1 18's on the AP kit. I'm not in the habit of lying.

As for Christians car, I'm sure he will explain what happened if he sees this thread. If not, I've now remembered who was involved and maybe they will pop their head up and tell us all.

Sorry Nathan, I was not implying anything here  I just remembered seeing the ZR19 on the rear rubber.

I stand corrected :)

Peter, not at all, I just kinda felt that from other posts. Just makes me being here a bit of a waste of time sometimes.

I'm sure that I do not speak for just myself here in that YOUR contributions add value in areas that others can not.

Simple as that!

There are many who just read this board and benefit from what others have said but, do not always say thanks.

Just my 2p

Nathan, do you know what offset the 9*18 rims are? If I remember there's two offsets available...?

So did Christian change the Gewalts for Blitz Z1's and then find that the AP's didn't fit properly? If that's the case then are there differences between different models/years..??

Nick,

I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure that the offset on the Blitz wheels, that fits over all the brake kits is 45mm. Edited to say that the only reason I'm not sure on the offset is because I've never ordered them by it. We only ever ask our agent in Japan for 'the wheels that fit over the Brembo and AP kit' and he simply supplies ones that fit. Never looked into it any further than that.

I'm really not going to comment too much on Christian Dorans wheel and brake setup. It was all out of our hands and my knowledge on it is therefore pretty vague.

Regards,

Nathan.

Nathan,

Thanks for the info. What I really need to do is to get hold of one of these rims, put it on and then measure the clearance so I'll know for sure whether they'll fit. Just a matter of finding someone and asking nicely...

Or.......what offset have you got on the wheels you have? It's usually on the wheel somewhere.

Cheers,
