Steve Cargill Posted May 18, 2003 Share Posted May 18, 2003 Not done it myself, but from reading other posts watch the radiator - may have to take it off, don't use heat just a BIG wrench (not usre if there is a special tool available) in addition the the normal cambelt timing issues etc. Belt is 13568-49036 (wait for someone better....) Steve W Posted May 18, 2003 Share Posted May 18, 2003 Steve, YES, there IS a special Toyota Crank-Pulley-Tool ! ! and TOYOTAS DON'T USE IT ! ! ! ! They use a VERY large Chain Wrench (ie. an enormous 'filter' wrench). AND, you're dead right, NO HEAT - or you may bugger the crank damper ! !
