Lovely car, good luck

Thanks. Sadly same old timewasters but one serious trader who actually offered decent money for it with a hassle free sale, might be

the way to go if his offer still stands. That was Wednesday last week.

If you do go with a trader be careful if it's a cash payment, there are a lot of fake notes going around. We had an instance locally, reported recently, where some Brummie boys were trying to pass off fake cash for a car purchase. If receiving cash direct to your account then ensure it is by faster payment (pretty instantaneous) as a BACS payment can be same day recalled.

Ideally, check any payment with your bank has cleared and cannot be reversed and record that conversation.

Thanks and yes just the faster payment option is what will be used. I've checked the trader out as best you can and they

appear to be genuine car dealer https://prestigeconnections.co.uk/

Cleared bank transfer before the car goes anywhere, I wouldn't entertain taking £18k of cash
