Ok guys so I’m finally ready to reluctantly let my Supra go to someone else to enjoy and take good care of, only advertising on here as I only feel it’s right to pass onto a forum member in the first instance.

I have owned the car for 12 brilliant hassle free years now and a change in circumstances means now is the best time to sell for me to pursue a business venture.

I bought the car from a member on here 12 years ago so some of you may even recognise it.

I am a fully qualified motor vehicle technician and have maintained the car over the years. It was originally used as my daily for around a year, then it was more affordable to buy a second run around and use the supra on the weekends and on odd occasions. It was garaged until a few years ago when I bought my new house, since then it’s been kept in my fathers garage over the winters, but he has bought a classic car now so last year and this year it will be out in the elements 😕. This is also a big reason to let it go to someone else who can look after it better than I can.

Lately I have only clocked up around 100 - 300 miles each year now so am not even using it much at all - another reason for selling. Never sorn, always had mot.

This is my first time doing a write up to sell a valuable sought after car so if I have missed anything or want to know anything I haven’t listed here please feel free to contact me and I will be as honest as I can be.

So the spec is as follows, sorry if it’s in a random order:

It was converted to count in miles on 6th July 2012 - at 95824km (59542 miles) and as of last mot has 113,530 so has covered around 77,250 miles. Serviced yearly with Millers fully synthetic oil.

Stock engine internals, HKS Dump valve, GReddy 2 row FMIC, performance induction air filter.

Walbro 255ltr fuel pump

THOR fuel cut defender, HKS Ti exhaust system with full de-cat pipes and restrictor ring

APEXI AVC-R Boost controller

Blitz DC IV turbo timer

TEIN Superstreet fully adjustable coilovers

Cusco Front and rear Stut Braces

UK spec brakes colour codes callipers all around, with standard discs and CW pads.

18's Rays T57-RC Gram Light forged alloy wheels with Rays full locking nut set

Vredestein Sessanta tyres front & Continental ContiSport3 rear

Good ridge brake lines

KENWOOD DDX-6029 touch screen multi media centre with 4 inch Infaze front speakers and 6.5 inch rear speakers.

Magnat amp powering two 10 inch Boss subs in custom made enclosure (needs felting)

Custom colour carbon dipped dash panels with MVP Bezel rings and THOR stainless steel dials, MVP dash/metre rings

TRD Gearknob

RECARO EVO8 Bucket Seats

EGT & BOOST BLUE Defi gauges mounted in 2 gauge A-pillar pod with controller unit

Removable steering wheel

Exterior:

Finished in RSP however as long as it’s been in the U.K. the log book has said blue, the code on the plate is 199 (silver) not factory 8L5 (RSP) so was silver re-sprayed RSP in Japan.

Bomex Front bumper

Modified OEM toyota sides

Modified rear spat round rear bumper

Front and side clear indicators

Facelift fronts with full set LED main beam, High Beam & fogs

Performance:

BPU++ (around 400-420)? est as never dyno’d - honestly feels more than this but can only go on the upgrade it has to what the predicted bhp would be.

The bad bits : (minor)

Had new drivers window mechanism replace (genuine parts) however it needs tweaking slightly as window is a little high. Scared to fully lower passenger side as I feel it’s slightly crunchy as was the drivers side before I had it replaced.

Sharp edge on drivers window strip.

Horns could do with replacing - sound a bit shit and a new horn switch needs fitting.

Bodywork is good but if you’re wanting show quality it would need a respray.

The amount of attention this car gets is unreal, from kids to grown men pretty much stopping walking and staring at you as you drive by.

I feel I have been as honest and genuine as possible and have no problems with answering your question.

Sorry about the boring pictures - I’ve never taken it to a nice location to take pictures…

Please pm me for any other information and for contact information. Located in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

£43,000

Many thanks,

Craig.

You'd need to add a fair amount of boost to get to 450bhp, even at the flywheel. So, presumably its not running on stock ceramic turbos?

It's not the best time to be selling if you don't have to, the market is firmly on it's arse at the moment.

Ah I did think it sounded a bit much when writing it out, and only an estimate. As you know with the apexi there’s a high and low setting. I generally leave it on low (1.0) high (1.2) feels like a different machine. I will amend the listing, bring the price down a bit, but no I’m not desperate to sell and would be more than happy to keep it.
Thanks for the advice.
