Jaycm
Morning All, I believe I may not be the only Supra owner to have had this problem so thought I best drop a thread in here hoping for some advice really. My boot lid has the dreaded rust around the lower part of the window/seal. So much so the rust is actually lifting the seal up. I want some guidance on what is the best route to go as I want to do the job once and not twice if that makes sense. My options as far as I am aware are; 1 - Cars in a bodyshop at the end of the year getting some bits done, do I get them to remove the rear window/cut out the rusted areas and paint/fit a new seal 2 - Buy a second hand Boot Lid with no rust and get it sprayed to match my car My worry about step 2 would be I do all that then it's a ticking time bomb as to when it may rust in a week or a few year, no one knows. mwilkinson
Do it once, do it right. I'm with Mark, glass out and make sure all the rust is treated.
