Engine Spec - Whifbitz 264 Cams, FSR Manifold, 3" downpipe, 44mm Tial Wastegate, 650cc Side Feeds 

 

Turbo - HKS T04Z with Open 0.82a/r Turbine

 

Fuel Used - Tesco 99 

 

Exhaust - 3.5" Twin Box Whifbitz 

 

Transmission - A340 Auto

 

ECU - HKS F-Con 3.3 

 

Mapped By - Dennis @ TDi, Thurrock

 

Dyno Used - Rototest

 

Power figure - 450rwhp 

 

Torque figure - 380 ft/lb 

 

Boost Pressure - 1 bar

Excuse - Boost Controller Issues

Recently took the car in for more tuning to add more boost and the tuner said that after 1bar it doesnt make any more power at the top end due to detonation. It currently makes 1.2bar but has had to pull timing to keep it happy. He tried 1.55bar but had to target 10.8 AFR to keep it happy and it wasnt going to make much more power. He theory is that EMAP is too high and csusing these issues. The tuner blamed the manifold.
