SUPRA4EVA
No one is willing to sell me a windshield and I need one. If they get imported somehow without damage, surely they can be courier'd the last 100 or so miles... Anyone had one imported direct? mc92
Expect them to revise the shipping cost up by a factor of 10. They've done that to me before when quoting large items. Whifbitz used to do repro heated screens and I'd be willing to go in on a group buy if we had enough people to justify a production run.

I might have no choice unfortunately, there's no one that will send it to me, I've asked many supplies. Apparently a Toyota dealer can do it but they seem clueless when you email them about it. I'd have to travel quite a bit to get to one...sure it's the last thing I could try but I can't see them being much use in person either. These shirt and ties are never clued up about anything you ask them. As far as OEM windshields, I see two types: a "BLUE" and a "BLUE W(TOPSHADE)". What's the difference, is it the black dots around the edge?

I'm not 100% sure the difference on the part numbers, afaik there are at least 3 types of OEM screen. 1 has a green tinted band at the top, one has a blue tinted band at the top and one has no band at the top. I did look into it a couple years back but ended up getting a used one instead. I'd guess blue = clear and blue w/topshade is the one with the top tint? but I could be wrong. rider
Try Autoglass. Their website says yes but that might be a lie.
mwilkinson
Have you tried SRD? I got a new windscreen from Lee a year or so ago.
Dieter
I opted for a windscreen with a blue wedge, but at first I wasn't sure..... whether it would go with a silver car ;-( ...., but I've already seen it live and it's not a bright / strong blue, more towards black / anthracite .... it looks really, really good.....,

Was it hard to remove the old one?
