1995 Black UK Spec Manual TT For Sale

Recommended Posts

With a heavy heart it has come time to part ways with the Supra, a change in circumstances mean I just don't get time to use it anymore and I'd like to sell it on to someone who can enjoy it as much as I have.

I've had the car since August 2010, so almost 14 years all of which it was garaged, and it's had 4 previous owners meaning 5 in total.

It's a 1995 MKIV Twin Turbo 6 Speed Manual in Black with 81900 miles (May increase slightly).

FSH since 1995 with a mixture of specialist and main dealer services, 33 in total (Will be serviced again before sale, so 34 in total at time of sale).

All 4 tyres have decent tread and are matching Dunlop Sports.

It's completely standard apart from an after market radio, a HKS dump valve and HKS Hi Power Silent exhaust which I believe has a 5 inch tip. I have all the standard parts to return it to stock which can go with the car if wanted.

I have 2 sets of keys which I believe to be the originals with standard alarm fobs.

Standard UK Spec which includes:

  • Active Spoiler
  • Heated seats
  • Electric driver seat
  • Differential oil cooler
  • Larger OEM brakes
  • CD multichanger (in boot)
  • Bonner Scoop
  • Headlight washers
  • Full cream leather
  • Rear fog light
  • Standard scorpion alarm

It drives beautifully and always passes it MOT's with ease. Mechanically it's in great condition, few things to note:

  • The flywheel has a slight rattle when pulling away, I have an OEM one (directly from Luk) which I bought from rock auto which I never got around to fitting which can go with the car with associated bolts.
  • It also comes with new boot rubbers; the old ones had been partially removed when I bought it and as with most of them need some more firepower to get them out. It never rattled or made a noise, so I forgot about them needing to be changed!
  • Side mount is the original and could probably do with replacing at some point, boosts fine and I've never noticed a difference in performance.
  • AC Condenser as with most cars this age has seen better days and could do with replacing, AC still works but probably doesn't last as long as it should. I always drive with the windows down, so it never bothered me.
  • I believe the Valve Stem Seals will need looking at in the coming years, when left for a while there is a small amount of smoke on start up which goes away when used regularly.

Never uses any oil between services and the engine is still sealed from the factory as far as I can tell, no mention of any engine work in the service history and still on original turbos that pull like they should.

Parts replaced in my ownership:

  • Full brake refurbishment by Chris Wilson
  • New brake hard pipes to rear.
  • New differential oil cooler
  • New OEM engine breather pipes
  • New oil filler cap
  • New clutch master cylinder
  • New radiator

It’s not a perfect show car but the paint is in fantastic condition for its age as for as I can tell has never had any paint work done in that time. There are a few blemishes which are in the pictures: there is a scuff on the passenger’s side wing mirror, some spidering on the bonnet near the scoop, usual stone chips on the bonnet, odd stone chip on the wings (talking a couple overall!), slight wear on the inside of the door handles, all 4 wheels and centre caps could do with a refurb to be perfect but no chunks missing.

Interior has original mats in almost perfect condition, drivers bolster has a few surface creases but otherwise in fantastic condition, otherwise interior is in amazing condition.

The car was undersealed from the factory which you can just about see in the pictures and it’s never been used in the winter or rain whilst I’ve owned it, the previous owner said the same and he was told the same by the previous owner. So there’s nothing hidden, and I’ll get some pictures up too. Through all its MOT’s and Services, it’s never had anything mentioned about rust and I am pretty sure is still on its original heat shields and tank cover. The jack points have been slightly bent as most have over the years, but they are not in bad shape and would easily be straightened with someone who knows how (before my ownership I might add.

I have lots of paper work: service history, parts receipts, MOTs, old tax discs, original service book and other original books/papers.

Additional context:

63 UK spec manual left in the UK

Average mileage of 109K for those 63

13 Black UK manuals

I am getting the car serviced including belt, a new clutch and a fresh MOT. I am also intending to get front original speakers reconed before sale too.

If you seriously interested I can take you out on a test drive (weather dependant) but it will strictly be me driving.

Price £50,000

This is now sold 😢 I’ll let the buyer introduce themselves when they are ready and the price if they want too.

Good luck in the future buddy👍

Are you still going to be active on here and keep the UK database upto date?
