Re: 2JZGTE with VVTi and first Cat removed Toyota list cylinder head bolts: 90910-02102 and cylinder head bolt washers: 90201-11018 as separate items, hence an additional cost. I'll be replacing the full set of cylinder head bolts but is there any reason to buy the washers? First time for cylinder head to come off. I know there are tolerances for the headbolts but never heard of anyone checking for tolerances for the washers. Would you not go for the ARP bolts instead of the toyota ones? HarleyFDMD Posted March 16 Share Posted March 16 As Cillian has said, arp headstuds would be a good upgrade whilst the engine is apart. Although with that being said, i know years ago arp had a bit of an issue with their headstud washers. They were manufactured a bit too small and so people used to bin them and use the oem washers with the arp studs.
