Yakushi 2024 - 6-8 September, Whittlebury

Hi All,

Following on from the successes of last years show, quick thread to understand if we've got enough interest to do this in 2024. Location will be the same as the last few years (Whittlebury Hall) but it's a week later this year: 6th-8th September.

I note:

- The event will need to fully fund itself to be viable; This means an increase on what we charged from last year from ~£90 per person up to ~£150 (as always this would include show entry/food/drink etc)

- Ticket purchases would need to be swift/much earlier in the year in order to budget/ensure we can do this

 

Please pop your names down below if interested and if we can get enough names together I'll get this moving.

Tickets now available in the club shop as follows:

1) full weekend ticket to include food/drink/show entry @£150 per person

2) a non refundable club stand deposit ticket @ £80 per person (now removed)

3) show entry and food drink @ £70 per person (now removed)

This gives people the ability to spread the cost a little given that we’re at a higher price point than previous years. If you buy a Ticket 1 this gets you everything; if you buy a ticket 2 you’ll also need to buy a ticket 3 or you won’t get in

 

Get buying please people - this is only viable if we can get deposits in quickly. I also note, alcohol will only be free flowing if we get a good number north of 43 people.

Friday lunch  = Pizza @ 1pm - Adi

Friday evening meal = Meat Paella @ 6.30pm - Adi

Friday late BBQ = Burgers/Hot dogs @ 9.30pm - Wests

Saturday breakfast @ 9am - Suprafluff

Saturday lunch  = BBQ @ 1pm - Chef TBC

Saturday evening meal = Pasta @ 6.30pm - Karrie/Vicki

Saturday late BBQ = Burgers/Hot dogs @ 9.30pm - Chef Trix guests

Sunday breakfast @ 9am - Chef TBC

If you or anyone you are bringing is vegan/vegetarian/has other dietary requirements, please shout asap

As a suggestion to reduce the ticket price, why don't we knock the alcohol on the head and let people bring there own, and just cater for food and teas and coffee. 

Surprisingly the alcohol isn’t even close to being the biggest contributor to the price.
