Jak jak
UPDATE TO VENUE AND TIMINGS. Well, what a 48 hours it has been for the MR2DC. After arranging the convoy etc, the venue has been changed due to waterlogging at Hatton. The new venue holds 900 cars and is on hard standing. It is close to shops and food outlets. The event will now take place on Car Park C of the Coventry Building Society ('Ricoh') Arena, off the A444 'Jimmy Hill Way', what3words ///float.settle.hoot. The official postcode is CV6 6AQ, but that doesn't take you near the car park entrance, so what3words is best. Access is directly opposite the entrance to the retail park, opposite Burger King. The car park is all hard standing, so no weather concerns. It's about 25 minutes North of Hatton, with easy access from the M6, so hotels already booked around the Warwick area are still within easy reach. In relation to this I have cancelled our hotel and the convoy to the site, as it would be difficult to keep a convoy for 25 mins through Coventry. There is a convoy from the south I think already arranged.maybe Mark Cattle knows about this. I am coming from the north and travelling from home now so proposing if anyone from North wants to convoy on together, we can meet at Corley Services (southbound) on the M6 Corley - M6 Highfield Lane, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV7 8NR Will leave there at 10am. I’m told its not too far from there and easy to convoy. We’ll be in Blue Mk5 Supra. *** The main thing to remember is parking has increased to £3 in advance and £6 on the gate, so sort your parking charge in advance. This is a venue cost not a MR2DC cost. And use what 3 words ///float.settle.hoot, rather than the postcode to navigate there ***
