Avirex
Hey guys. Yesterday on my drive to a friend my tt auto supra just stopped pulling. I first thought it was the accelerator or something with the engine. While slowly rolling on the highway I gave it some gas and the rpm shot up. Its like the car is in neutral. When the car stopped I tried putting it in reverse and even manual mode would not move the car. You can push the car when its in neutral so I dont think its something with the transmission (Clutch maybe?) After a while I checked the fluid level of the transmission fluid and it looked ok. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be before I pull of the entire transmission
rider
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=AT&P=9 Did you unplug the ECU before doing the manual test? Although this link is to the Mk3 it'll run through the diagnostics procedure. Edited August 31, 2023 by rider (see edit history)
Avirex
No, I havent unplugged the ECU. Have not run any diagnostics yet. The car was transported to a shop around 60km away from my home. I will get the car today and transport it home so I can get under the car and see whats up. My friend told me that he saw a lose cable near the transmission. Maybe this could be the issue?
