shervin_ice
Hi All , im trying to fit a used ย ac kit which it was removed from TT supra and im fitting into NA Supra but the pressure switch plug on the TT has 4 pins and on the NA supra has only 2 pins ,im assuming on tt supra the pressure switch will send out signal to switch the ac rad fan on or off am i right or wrong ?if im right can i just cut ย the tt pressure switch plug and just use the 2 wire on NA supra and leave the other two wire disconnected? Thanks in advanceย
rider
The pressure sensor/switch on an AC setup is there to activate the compressor clutch. Too little pressure or suction on the inlet side and the clutch won't engage. It is there to prevent vacuum forming on the suction side of the compressor which could/would pull in air and moisture, neither of which is good for an AC system. Thanks for your reply I know the pressure switch send signal to compressor but im talking about the other two wires as you might know on TT AC pressure switch has 4 wires but on NA supra only has two Wires so im just want to find out whats other two wires do ?does it send signal to activate the fan or etc? thanksย
