SIMON LC
Ok so looking at doing a full engine rebuild and turbo . Most engines available only seem VVTI which I know have the thinner conrods so no good for big bhp. So if I put non VVTI conrods in is that all I need to change to make it a non VVTI engine spec ? Also apparently GTE head gasket is better to use?
AC93
Only the GE VVTi has weaker rods, GTE is strong as, but yes you can just swap rods and do a TT headgasket to lower the compression for boostings
