Hi guys,  need some help to understand what is wrong with the brake.  I just had the UK spec brake callipers and discs installed on my supra.

it is making some knocking noise as the wheel turns, I took of the wheel to find that the pads are actually moving as the wheel turns !!

wrong size of pads ?  Or issue with installation ?

Thanks Rider, unlikely the pads were fitted incorrectly.  Disappointing if Mtec sent me the wrong pads, as I bought the uk spec discs and brake pads from them.  Will need to call tomorrow and check. I had a look on the other sides as well, looks like the pads were all a bit “loose”, so unlikely the mechanic fitted all incorrectly.

Its an easy mistake to make, like any 50:50 choice. But, it is common to have a larger front disc. I had a hub oil seal fitted the wrong way around on one car, that was a 50:50. I had another car where the crank seal was fitted the wrong way around, another 50:50. It looks like some mechanics probably just toss a coin.

Am I missing any bit of fitting clips or things to stop the pads from moving ?  I obviously am not an expert, but looking at the callipers and the pads, am I actually missing something ?  Well, I would have thought the mechanic would have known better.  I just check Mtec site, I did buy the correct parts and I assumed they sent me the right parts.  I bought the pads and shim kits. Anything else I need to fit the pads?
