RobSheffield
i know these sort of wiper related questions have been asked before, but i the questions aint quite as specific as this one! i have 2 x 21" wiper blades, and i know the passenger side is supposed to be 20"....would it be a huge problem to fit a 21" to the passenger side, with a spoilered 21" on drivers side - will they catch? im gonna do it anyway....just thought id ask! secondly, the rear blade appears to be around 18"..again, would there be any problem with the rear blade being one of these 21" ones? will it foul anywhere?! i realise these are fairly specific questions, and that a few people wont have done this - if no positive replies are forthcoming, ill post results of my 'experiment' tomorrow! Simon
Rob they won't foul each other. Fit a big as you like, the only thing you want to make sure is that the blade doesn't sweep beyond the screen itself.
RobSheffield
yeah - thats what is worrying me - especially on the rear i think the fronts will be fine i bought 2 blades a while back, but realised one isnt the 'airfoil' one, so im gonna go to halfrauds tomorrow and get one! supRo
I used the halfrauds recommended sizes, both with aerofoils - get the Bosch ones - Quality
Branners
I found the Halfords one (yes the properly recommended Bosch one) is shorter than the toyota ones and doesnt sweep all the way up the screen. Not sure if anybody else has found that? JB
MaveriK
anyone replaced stock with the blingy ones from Miami-GT? Are they any good or do they look over the top?
supRo
John, Mines are fine! If you have the receipt, it may be worth moaning at them and tell them that they are not as long as the oem and I'm sure they'll be happy to give you longer ones. Maverik, I did have some blingy ones before, they looked chavvy and functionally they were crap! If they are light weight (alu??) and have small aerofoils, they will lift up 100 leptons plus. I reccomend the bosch, thick solid build and the aerofoil is across the whole length. Ro
