2JZ GTE VVTi - BC 264's opinions?

Anyone here running BC 264's on a VVTi head?

Doing a build currently and went ahead and got BC 264's for it. I notice now tho that there's quite a big difference in specs of the 264's between VVTi and non-VVTi, while the 272's and 276's have pretty much the same specs.

The non-vvti 264's have 9.52mm lift and 220/226 duration, while the VVTi ones have only 8.74mm lift and 218/218 duration, so starting to wonder if they're worth putting in at all or if I should go for 272's instead (9.52mm/9.65mm lift and 229/231 duration).

Build specs:

Wiseco AP pistons stock compression

Manley rods

ARP headstuds and main caps bolts

BC single springs with TI retainers

6boost exhaust manifold

Aftermarket intake

BW s369

3.5" DP and exhaust

It will be a street car that will mostly be driven on pump gas. Hoping for 650whp on pump and 800-850 for the ocasional e85 weekend rides.

Originally went for the 264's as with the strict Norwegian rules there's a chance I'll have to revert back to stock twins setup for inspections, and thought the 264's would be fine to run on stock ECU for those times, but if the gains from them will be miniscule I might just go 272 instead.

I was bummed out when i saw the 8.74mm lift too!
What did you end up going with? Got a youtube or instagram vid?

Im looking at the Titan 264 and liking the 9.3mm lift being at the ragged edge of the oem shimmed bucket. Surprisingly very little reviews if any. Could barely even find a cam card until they emailed it to me: Duration at 1mm lift 226/228 (intake/exhaust)
