Here is my 2014 (64) Volkswagen Tiguan TSI R-Line. This is a rare car, as it’s the 7 speed DSG, making it the same as the Mk6 Golf GTI, just with a 7 speed gearbox rather than the 6 speed. This is the DQ500 box and is incredibly strong.

R-Line spec is:

  • 3x3 point rear seat belts
  • ABS
  • Alarm
  • Alloy wheels
  • Body coloured bumpers
  • Driver`s airbag
  • Electric mirrors
  • Folding rear seats
  • Front electric windows
  • Heated mirrors
  • Height adjustable drivers seat
  • Isofix child seat anchor points
  • PAS
  • Passenger`s airbag
  • Rear electric windows
  • Remote locking
  • Roof rails
  • Service indicator
  • Side airbags
  • Steering wheel rake adjustment
  • Steering wheel reach adjustment
  • Traction control
  • Cloth seat trim
  • Front fog lights
  • Lumbar support
  • Space saver spare wheel

Mileage is just under 42000, it’s used daily, so it will creep up.

Car is in excellent condition, internally & externally. Engine is great and has very nice power delivery, the car has benefited from a Bevo Tuning map, which has boosted the power from 211bhp & 207lb/ft to 270bhp and 310lb/ft. The engine revs freely all the way to 6500rpm.

I’ve upgraded the steering wheel to a GTi steering wheel, which has the paddles on it. The stock Tiguan wheel does not. That was coded in as was the visual speed on the centre display. This also wasn’t as standard feature. I've also upgraded the door speakers because one of the stock ones had blown.

Xenon headlights are even and same colours. Aircon is cold. HVAC controls upgraded to later models. It’s a brilliant daily driver.

Recent service in October, including Haldex flush to keep the 4WD system happy. The Haldex makes no noises and was pretty good in the recent snow/ice to be fair.

I’ve owned this car for just over 3 years and 23000 miles, and it’s only ever been run on Super Unleaded. 4 good tyres, 4 good brakes, new battery fitted in July 2022. MOT till December 2023. On a long run, you can get 450 miles out of this car. I've driven from Liverpool to Tower Bridge in London and back again on a single tank, with 2 people and a suitcase in the car.

Reason for change is an incoming new car.
