Digsy
You know you are getting over the hill when even the insurance industry no longer regards you as a threat to yourself or anyone else and offers to renew your Supra insurance for well under £500, but that's what has happened. Not sure whether to laugh or cry!

paul mac
thats a great deal, i tried them a while ago and got the old "i'me sorry sir we can not insure that model of car" guess its the luck of the draw
JohnA
It also depends on whether you've *ever* made any claims at all, the number of claims in the last 5 years, if it garaged, the exact postcode (sometimes), number of years you've held the UK licence, blah blah. Digsy
I'm with Highway brokered through A-Plan. I tried NUD last year but they couldn't touch them. £469 on a stock NA Aerotop with 9 years no claims (protected).
Soop Dogg
NUD are generally one of the cheapest around nowadays. They even managed to get the GZ Aerotop identified correctly. As I wrote one off 2 years ago, I only had 1 years NCB when I insured mine. Bargain at £672! However, they won't insure under 25's in cars over a specified cc which from memory is only about 2 litres, so forget insuring a Supe with them if under 25. Angie only pays £407 fully comp on her TT through NUD! They're always worth a call as over the last 2 years or so their pricing has been pretty fluid. Premiums just keep going down. Max Headroom
I pay £277 with NUD with over 5 years No claims for me and my wife. Im 46 and the Mrs is 5..... a lot older. There is something to be said for being an old fart
Digsy
Might be something to be said for driving a TT as well. NAs do seem to be more expensive to insure.
