RichSupra
Hi all, I have always loved and owned Jap cars including an s2000, and EVO X and a couple of Civic Type R’s. My dream however has always been a supra, and right now I feel like the luckiest owner ever as I have just won a 1996 Supra in an online competition!! The car was an NA but has been converted to a TT VVTI engine, has an R154 gearbox which I believe is from a Chaser then it has some tasty modifications from the likes of Blitz and HKS. I should be picking the car up on the 20th Sept, and I’m looking forward to meeting a few of you soon. I will no doubt be asking plenty of questions soon enough. I’m based in Cornwall in the U.K., say hello if you live near by.

The Raven
Result! What plans do you have it looks near perfect
RichSupra
First I’m just going to take it to a Jap car specialist to give it a full once over to see if it needs for anything. Then down the line I would like to Increase power to around 500bhp so I’m guessing a single turbo conversion, and definitely a big brake set up. Exterior wise just keep it clean and simple, a trd rear wing, some Work wheels, a Greddy front lip and that’s about it as I like the original lines.
Annabella
Depending down the line if you sell, maybe keep the TT part and BPU it, that could take you to 400 or so and keeps it more stock if you like.

RichSupra
Thanks all! @Annabellai have thought about keeping it twin turbo as well as I prefer that set up, so I guess it will depend how much power I want long term.

Guigsy
id definately at least give the bpu mods a try. Its pretty cheep to do (compared to a single conversion) and the intercooler and a few other mods will be of use if you go single. i loved my old bpu car. in some ways more than my single. its just different to drive. and it was great with the auto box i had. When you planted it. the box kicked down and the 2nd turbo all came along at the same time was a real kick in the pants. something similar in my single just wants to spin the wheels. Hope you enjoy the car.
