Suprakeith
Right am after some help or advice please, got annoying issue with rec counter not working. Since getting my car back from mapping the rev counter hasn't worked, took her back to MGT yesterday for Garth to try few ideas but still no joy and we removed clocks fitted in different supra and all working fine. I've got a GE engine with is now NA-T and am running whifbitz R35 coils conversion with Link G4+ ECU and no matter what we try can't get rev counter to work, have tried bypassing resistor behind Tacho with wire and also taking feed from coil 1 and still joy at all, does anyone have any tips or know what we doing wrong please? as would really like to get rev counter in next few weeks ready for taking car down strip at Santa pod. Any help or know how is really appreciated
Mike2JZ
Cause your loom is GE you will be missing a tachometer circuit that the Link is expecting to have as they were designed to work with GTE loom. Basically you will need to run a new wire from A16 on ECU (aux 1) to Pin29 on orange passenger footwell connector.
