herbiemercman
Is there a member of the club called Keron from Birmingham? , not sure of the the name, but he had many used parts for my model of car. Do you know of any other breakers which also have used parts for my car.?
Style
Yes, @keron is usually quite active on here and is probably your best chance at used parts inside the UK
Big Supes
@keronat Extreme Performance. As for other breakers, ebay might be your best bet.

herbiemercman
Thanks Tyson, I am dealing with him now, he is going to test my ECU, not sure how they do this? surely they just don't just put it on one of their cars and see if it runs OK for 10 mins? i am saying this as my car is running perfectly, the problem is it can just start running badly when it wants, an intermittent fault, and it may be several days before it does fail. Tyson
The ECU is a piece of electrical equipment so I would imagine testing would involve a multimeter? But I would also imagine running it on another car would also be part of the test to confirm/exclude the ECU being the route of the problem. Best bet is to just ask Keron what he is going to do, he's a top bloke and very experienced so I am sure he'd be happy to run you through it. Unfortunately, as with all intermittent faults, if you can't get it to replicate the issue it can be hard to diagnose.
herbiemercman
Hi Tytson, thanks for your comments, you are certainly correct about intermittent faults. These cars were well before their time in looks and performance, but i think many of us are now "running out of time", the ECU's are on their way out, the engine senders are hard to find as are guys that can diagnose the problems.
