Brake Options

Howdy peeps,

Just removed my UK-Spec brakes and they look like they need a refurb as I have signs of seized pistons.

I could try and free them up on the bench and slap them back in, but there's obviously a seal gone so they'll only bind up again.

Does anyone know of someone who I can send them to for a refurb? Any idea on price?

Lastly, I'm pondering replacing with a set of K-Sport brakes instead, but they'll need to work with my wheels.

I went to use the brake caliper specialist who quoted me before i sent then when they recieved them they doubled the price, so I would afford them

That's a bit of a cheek. I understand some jobs go south and take longer, but if all you're doing is brake calipers day in - day out, you should have a pretty good idea how to quote.

I've gone with Brake Caliper Refurbs for the rears. The guy sounded genuine and they'll turn them around in 3 days (no paint).

K Sports are arriving tomorrow for the fronts.
