Noz
Hi folks, I'm curious if having too high oil pressure, could cause oil (when warm) to be pushed into the combustion chamber past the rings? I need to check the logs, but just wondering peoples thoughts before I get the chance. Style
Absolutely, if the pressure is too high it will look to escape somehow. Are you running higher than ideal oil pressure?

Blow by will always happen in any kind of engine to a degree. But a modded jz running high hp...id expect more than usual especially with wear and tear
Swampy442
There shouldn't be anything in terms of oil pressure in the return to the sump, so no, high oil pressure wont cause oil past the rings. High crankcase pressure would cause issues, and that why cars have a vacuum powered PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system. The engine likes a bit of vacuum in the crank case. There was a great thread years back about crank case scavenging, including routing a breather into the exhaust downpipe
Mike2JZ
We run some fairly high oil pressure builds and don’t have any issue with oil burning. It’s more likely a ring sealing issue or damage to cylinder bore surface 1
