Next on the list is to get my spare valve covers powdercoated and do the gaskets and put some new spark plugs in. Going for a new look on valve covers and spark plug covers.

Then to investigate if my oil pressure switch and oil filter housing are leaking.

Pretty much all i wanted to do this year. If any nice bits tickle my fancy i might buy something 😁

For a while ive been thinking of fitting a TT power steering reservoir, looks nice and could be pre turbo doings. Until @Homer gave me a polished power steering reservoir cover. Fits the NA with some trimming but it sealed the deal at fitting one. Loving it!

@evinX, how do you like TRD strut bar? Did you notice any kind of improvement in driving? I am thinking about geting one for myself🤔

On the road you wouldn’t notice any difference at all, they’re just for show. Strut and chassis support bars make minor differences even in race prepared cars. If you’re racing them suspension setup, appropriately spec’s ARB’s, clutch LSD’s, stronger braking systems and most importantly weight loss is where all the gains are made. However a quick race car does absolutely not equal a good road car.

So my valve covers were leaking at the back for a while. Sometimes as it leaked down and touched the exhaust you would get a whiff of burning oil. So swapped those over using original seals...and discovered 1 and 2 cyl spark plugs FULL of oil! Leaking all round really...so degreased the engine...new seals and my newly powdercoated valve covers and hooks in gloss black.

Wanted a change in the bay from the blue and went for a Chameleon ultra violet and neon blue pigment to go with the gloss black. First time painting it...was super fun and came out mint. Something i used to see at shows back in the day...and something i want to continue, my style is stuck in that era

Also swapped my rear lower braces as they got a little crusty...and some new high tensile bolts

Been a good while since i have done much to mine. Finally found a good condition boot visor again for a reasonable price. Currently on the hunt for some new parts - mainly TRD so watch this space.

I plan to get her on stands when the bad weather is out the way and see if anything needs doing underneath
