black_widow87
Evening all, I'm in the process of taking apart my rear subframe, all was going well until I get to the rear upper control arm ball joints! Iv tried levering downwards whilst hitting the joint housing, but with no joy. I also tried the same method using heatgun but being careful not to destroy the rubber boot. Are there any other methods I can try? Cheers Jake
Swampy442
Ball joint splitter, big hammer, smash the shit out of it. Providing the actual ball joint is still good you can get new boots cheap enough

black_widow87
So after using my ball joint splitting kit, which worked an absolute treat, I didn't manage to save the rubber boot for the rear lower suspension arm. Does anybody know the best place to get a replacement for these? Or accurate dimensions so I can try find a similar boot?
Josh42
If you can get me rough dimensions, I may have an OEM spare
mc92
https://www.balljointboots.co.uk/ball-joint-boots.html I used these ones for the front lowers, IDK if they're the same size as the rears though they might fit.
