mc92
I posted about this a little while ago but didn't get it solved back then, so I'm back again. My car makes a funny noise under hard acceleration, over about 5k RPM at wide open throttle. I haven't noticed any conditions which make it more or less common - some days it doesn't happen at all, some it's very bad. The car's performance or driving feel doesn't change when it's making the noise. It seems to be loudest from the driver's seat, I tried recording it in various areas of the car. Opening the window doesn't make it any more noticeable. The car is a facelift NA manual. Since it appeared, I have replaced: Coil, H/T leads, spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor, both O2 sensors. No change. I have tried a different ECU just in case it was perished capacitors. No change. I replaced all the vacuum hoses and PCV breathers. No change. I have cleaned and replaced the throttle body including the TPS, AICV, and gasket. No change. Perhaps it's something very simple that I'm overthinking or misinterpreting. You can hear it in the following video, starting around 10 seconds. Cheers for any help/suggestions.

Swampy442
If you have a GoPro or something, maybe stick it under the bonnet? Just an idea
