Swampy442
Rumour (press) says he signed a pre contract with McLaren, but some poor PR sod at Alpine is getting the sack! Also rumour says he was wanted by Williams and he said no. Danny Ric will leave F1 in my opinion. Hes not been the same/not had the car/not had the luck for a while now and he could get greater success elsewhere
Annabella
Think Danny Ric will get paid out for his remaining contract.
Swampy442
Hes a great guy, charismatic in the extreme and will no doubt make an excellent pundit, get rid of the soulless robot Coulthard
Style
I think he's got one more contract in him. Hard to place him though as the seats are filling fast

Sainz has made a lot of mistakes this year so could be let go in 2024 when his contract is up.

Style
I'd heard they'd halted contract negotioations with one another but that was more to do with the fact that the Aston seat has been filled by Alonso. Schumacher hasn't realistically got anywhere to go now so Haas seem happy to squeeze his renewal out a little longer and knock his price down. He'll stay at Haas, its a Ferrari customer, hes a Ferrari driver, the obvious platinum solution is a Schumacher in the factory team.

Swampy442
Renault have already said they'd like him back, suppose it's down to money. But who else is available for that seat?

Dnk
The gravel trap at La Source should be interesting especially at the start New tarmac into and through Eau Rouge should make that even quicker and more gravel traps added around the lap https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=1105789367023432
Dnk
Will be a mixed up grid with all the penalties for new engines inc Max and Charlie Edited August 27, 2022 by Dnk (see edit history)
Style
Here's me niavely thinking the change to the floor pan regulations would tighten the pack up a little Max will have this wrapped up with about 3 races to spare, insane pace this weekend Ferrari at it again too

Swampy442
That was a boring race. The RB performs better at higher ride heights, so if anything the rules favour them, suppose its a throwback to the high rake days, and if anything will impact Merc most as they run better when lower. Seen Toto saying its going to be a tough call whether to persevere with this design or completely redesign for next year.
Annabella
Yep was boring, why haven't posted! RB seem so far ahead, I reckon there is some skullduggery going on
