If that the car that pitches up for the first race, Id be concerned about heat management in a hot, humid Singapore They'll probably have the constructors wrapped up by then so will be happy to just take it on the chin

Annabella
Red bull look to have sorted their porpoising, Think they're ahead with Ferrari. Yes Merc looks unstable, not sure that can be faked!

Lando reckons he'll be racing againts the Hass's this year!
Tyson
Must say I have missed all the pre season due to other commitments. Not even had a chance to watch drive to survive yet! Need to catch up.

It's great to watch a series about the sport that goes into so much detail, but the fabricating of a lot of the content is shocking. No wonder a lot of the drivers are beginning to swerve the interviews etc.
Swampy442
So before any sort of serious running, predictions for winners on Sunday? Im a Lewis fan but I say a Ferrari is going to win.
Annabella
Unless Merc come up with a release for too much underflow, Max
Mugello
Mercedes look to be behind a little - Ferrari and Redbull on the podium.

Annabella
Doesn't look like merc are sandbagging, unless they have a new under tray/side pod on an overnight.
Swampy442
The only question is are they running full power yet or not
Style
Well that was interesting. Not sure what’s more impressive, Haas or Bottas out qualifying Russell Early three horse race, hopefully it’s doesn’t become the new HAMVERBOT
Annabella
I hope Charles will have very pointy elbows tomorrow, and not let Max do his usual I'm not going to make the corner moves. Good start though...
Swampy442
Its gonna be a very up and down few races I think. Tyres are the real unknown and will take a bit of working out
Swampy442
I dont want to spoil anything for anyone but all I'll say is Mercedes have A LOT of work to do. Ill just say that, trending on Twitter is #Karma.......

Dnk
Awful start for Williams and McLaren Great result for Merc considering the problem but can they get genuinely better by next weekend and what's wrong with the Red Bulls ?
Style
What a lovely ending I saw/heard a whisper that the standard issue Marrelli fuel pump setups, supplied by the FIA, aren't up to surviving full race distances and may have been part of Gasly's failure as well as the Red Bull's. Also explained why there was little to no race distance testing done in the lead up to the weekend. The resin that encases the electronics are cracking over time, fuel is getting into the components and causing havoc. There are likely electronics in there for other parts of the car too (hybrid unit aka Max's failure) Whether or not all teams know this and are trying to manage it, I'm not sure. It may also be a load of made up nonsense, but thought it was an interesting take.
Mugello
I also heard it was an issue with the fuel pump - But sounded as if Red Bull were struggling to pickup the fuel from the tank full stop. Will be interesting to see how Mercedes improve (if at all) for next weekend.
