Beware of these fake injectors - iperformance.racing

Having been on a quest to find genuine PE / SARD / Denso side feed drop in injectors for a new 2JZ project, I stumbled upon a vendor (iperformance.racing) on ebay with fantastic ratings claiming to sell genuine 800cc Denso units and after he assured me that they were genuine, I proceeded to buy a set. However, upon testing it turned out that two out of the six injectors were faulty which clearly indicates that they are Chinese copies. Hence, this is just a warning for anyone who might fall victim like I have.

If its too good to be true it usually is. I refuse to tune cars anymore with ebay injectors, they are always an issue. Just buy a set of known and approved aftermarket bosch based injectors from proven companies like injector dynamics or FIC and enjoy a stress free time.

Sidefeed injectors are also a pain, especially in larger sizes, they can exhibit hot start problems and incosistent fueling at low pulsewidths. My recomendation is to leave them in the 1990's and jump on a modern injector.

What would you consider a large sidefeed ? 650cc, 800cc ?

I used to run the Power Enterprise 650cc in my Supra with the Autronic SM4 ECU and it was hard to fault, it ran very well! I currently have the Power Enterprise 800cc in my Supra and it is still very good, however I would say the idle quality on the 650's were a tad better. I cant fault either of them in my experience with the ECU I run.

Try a set of Bosch injectors one day adi and you will be impressed. Pulsewidth control and fuel atomisation is far superior on modern tech.
That said, I’ve also had good success on genuine power enterprise injectors before, but trying to find genuine units these days with correct injector data is a mission. Not worth the aggro unless you get lucky and find a set from reputable source.
