I have one of these fitted, I don't recall any instructions on how to clean them on the packaging.

Replacement filters are about £50...annual replaceable item as far as I am concerned.

MMMM, I Guess, but im sure these are like the bike filters K/N do, which is a quick rince in warm water, Let it dry, and then reoil, You shouldnt have to replace the eliment unless it has holes or crack's but i could be wrong, (or its oem) anyway i ll do the warm water thing if no one else chips in and see what happens, And if it goes T*Ts up then i guess its a new Filter........ :) thanks for the advise...

Could be the same method?

Pleasure :) don't blame me if it all goes wrong :p

I think petrol will be better as water alone won't penetrate or clean off the old oil, also even if there is a trace of petrol left it won't do any damage just let it dry out before hand.
