MySupra Posted December 21, 2021 Share Posted December 21, 2021 Hi all, hope everyone is well and safe, and looking forward to Christmas Im taking this time to sort out my supra, my main issues is water ingress to the cockpit and boot, mainly from the rear lights and door/roof seals, i need advice on the rear lights situation, as it doesn't effect the rear light itself but comes behind and into the boot The door seals are straight forward, but any recommendations on where to get the rubber and door guttering from but the little quarter window, not sure on how its ment to look from a sealed prospective, i had the car totally resprayed some years ago and they where removed Any advice would much appreciated, thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tyson Posted January 22, 2022 Share Posted January 22, 2022 Can't help on the seals but also check the guttering at the end of the water channel, just next to the rear lights, if this is blocked it stops water escaping and causes it to build up. Nathanj1142 Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 I found that the two rubber wiring grommets near the hatch hinges were split and allowing water to enter the boot, puddling in my spare wheel well.
