Selling using the online car auction sights looks like a good way to get out of

trade sales rules

No thankfully, one car i was looking at bidding on had debatable mot history and a close look at the 

dozens of photos on the auction site pretty much told me to not bother

On the same site the auction house told me another car i was looking was being sold by a trader that also

flagged up some worries with its supposed no expense spared previous ownership

The right ups on there i now take with a pinch of salt

Dont believe anything you read, and traders masquerading as private sellers is all too common. The only way to know what a car is like is to go and view it

Well with the mot check and a close look at photos i didn't need to see it in the flesh, it went for strong money as well so i guess others 

hadn't spotted what i had 

But yes i agree you need to see before you buy really
