formatzero Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 Dont know if any of you guy's have watched or are interested in this documentary.I have long been interested in space but i found this first episode a bit depressing.The basic theme about the history and ultimate end of the universe is laid out in best guess scenario but at the end of it my thought was the whole thing seems a total waste of time and no real reason for all the matter existing in it being there at all.It exists for no real reason and after several trillion all the stars die and it returns to a dark ever expanding entity !! I liked watching some of his other space shows, they were interesting so I will give this one a try soon. There are a lot of things that I can't get my head around, like where the universe came from and how there could be nothing beforehand. Maybe we will find out one day. Ultimately our life spans are so short in the grand scheme of things, theres not enough time to waste it on existential dread lol.
