keioffice
Hi all, Am wondering why HKS and big JDM companies make so few parts and kits for VVTi specifically? An example are suction kits from HKS and other parts all exclude VVTi. Was also looking at SARD turbo kits and this was the same. Is there a technical reason behind this? Cheers
Swampy442
There is stuff out there, you can even get VVTI cams. Induction kits exclude the VVTI I think because of the flowmeter, its very sensitive to pipe sizes and locations so you need a bespoke housing which means expensive. A decent ECU can delete the flowmeter and rely on the MAP sensor As for turbos, correct me if Im wrong but manifolds are the same fitment wise between VVTI. Noz
Vvti cams feel fairly recent. Same for the na cams just weren't around until recent years. Nice that it's growing. Shame the billet dual vvti head never happened.

Noz
Not enough people spending on that perhaps. Let's face it, these days everyone's got a hard on for OEM.
