Thorin
Seeing as I'd noticed that one of my vacuum hoses is beginning to split around the end I've decided I'll replace all the vac hoses etc. with silicone hose. I've looked on http://www.hosedirectltd.co.uk but the trouble is I don't know what size I need to buy. The smaller hoses (like the one to the boost gauge) are they 4mm bore? What about the larger ones? I was looking at replacing the turbo and coolent pipes too, until I saw how expensive those are!
MONKEYmark
been to hose direct a few times, they kept saying they will have what i wanted in 2 weeks. got pissed off in end going and not been back. they are expensive.vaccum piping was about £5 per m smallest silicone is 6.5mm. the ones i was waiting ages for was 6.5 amd 9.0mm got loads of vaccum pipe left over. think most hoses were4.5-5mm i took up a couple of parts off car to get exact sizeing. did not need clips on vaccum pipes as its a solid tight fit. they do samco hose kits, but did not have any in stock.
